Manage and lead the project team including internal partners, subcontractors, consortium partners and external interfaces (X-BU, type A projects) Profit and loss responsibility for the allocated project by delivering the project within time, budget and cash targets in the required quality whilst optimizing the margin Supervise the negotiations for the allocated project and provide the execution strategy; final decision on the overall execution strategy and subcontractor/ sub-suppliers selection Ensure proper deviation, risk and opportunity management Ensure compliance with Bühler directives and EHS standards Liaise with the Project Management Office to establish, implement and maintain operating standards to ensure quality project results and customer satisfaction Develop and maintain corresponding relationships with clients, partners and main subcontractors to ensure a smooth project execution and dispute resolution Supervise, support and partially also select the project members
Master’s or Bacherlor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration Minimum 8-10 years of experience as Project Manager in an international environment; preferably in the area of plant engineering and the capital goods industry Ideally experienced within EPC/ EPCM set-ups PMI or equivalent Project Management certificate Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with different stakeholders Good commercial and financial knowledge for assessing business risks and opportunities to undertake commercial negotiations Strong leadership and team working skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams Fluent in English (spoken + written) and preferably a second language e.g. German or Spanish Willingness to travel internationally
