Your Responsibilities: STRATEGY: Develop and execute growth strategy for Ophthalmic Surgical portfolio, by identifying attractive target segments, planning product innovations and portfolio improvements, developing partnerships with external companies and M&A activities. PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT: Define and execute on product roadmap for microscopes, OCT systems, clinical applications. Establish customer requirements, articulate clear product positioning and value proposition, set priorities for the hardware and software development, work towards product costs optimization and portfolio standardization, while maintaining regulatory & quality compliance. Together with R&D and other functions achieve product development milestones and ensure the highest quality and customer satisfaction through comprehensive validation of new products against customer use cases and market needs. Support global and regional marketing teams to prepare product launches and marketing campaigns. INNOVATION MANAGEMENT: Enable breakthrough innovations to improve surgeon’s decision making and patient outcomes by cultivating key expert's network, handling research collaboration projects with customers and external partners, identifying most important market, technology and clinical workflow trends to incorporate into product roadmap. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT: Develop a cohesive and unified team of Product Managers with common objectives and a shared attitude, cultivate a culture of openness and accountability, instill associates with a sense of ownership, celebrate success and use failures as an opportunity for “guiding moments”, actively develop associates skills and know-how, mentor associates in both technical capabilities and professional growth. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in business unit, marketing, R&D, RA-QA, manufacturing and selling units.
