Advanced Solutioning is the key Team that identifies, innovates, quantifies and advances the technology readiness of new opportunities. As an Advanced Solutioning R&D Process Specialist, you will focus on identifying end to end processing needs and requirements for injection molded medical part production. This role can be either located in Dudelange, Luxembourg, or in Diessenhofen, Switzerland. RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluate in a systematic manner new and current medical part designs and their impact on injection molding process requirements Develop procedures to evaluate new resins through laboratory testing and analysis to quantify their impact on the molding process Support the understanding of the lab scale testing and its mapping to production scale Produce specific parts for internal use under controlled conditions to guarantee quality and accessibility of final package performance Evaluate new technology both theoretically and practically Establish exploratory work on injection process to go beyond current knowledge or state of the art Establish procedures, guidelines and requirements for medical applications that can be transferred to other teams within the organization Support competitive intelligence, benchmarking and product launch initiatives Support in-field testing at customer sites Develop application, technology and processing guidelines that can be shared and leveraged company wide Develop alignment of predictions of mathematical models with actual system responses Develop best practice processing approaches and facilitate process training Field evaluations and benchmarking system performances of competitor and current Husky technologies
